My name is Andreea, and I come from Romania. I am currently studying Psychology and Psychotherapy at college. In Romania, children in urban areas usually start learning English in kindergarten. In rural areas, things are a bit different. We start learning English only in middle school. English is mostly used at work by Romanians. Many jobs here require at least a basic knowledge of English. It also enables people to access better-paid jobs and better professional opportunities.
