My name is Lee and I come from Malaysia. I am studying medicine at a university in Japan now. In Malaysia, we start learning English in primary schools. Then, most of us learn science and mathematics using English in secondary schools. Since Malaysia is a multiracial country, everyone has a different mother tongue. English is mostly used for communication with other races. One of the main purposes of studying a language is to communicate with one another. That’s why, I think we should practice using the language more in our daily lives if we want to be better at it.
